Wooki with the new XLC ?

May be a silly question but please correct me f I'm wrong. How is anyone benefiting from the new XLC reversible lay angle if they have a wooki, due to the wooki having a set lay ?

Hi Dippa - If you remove the Wooki from this, how are you benefiting from the reversible lay? Are you changing back and forth all the time?

I ask because I sleep head left / feet right in all my gathered end hammocks, regardless if the hammock restricts me in that direction or not.

warbonnet recently came out with the xlc to be used universally so consumers have the option of lay direction. The old xlc was made head left /feet right you would have to special order a head right/feet left if that was how you preferred to lay. I would assume anyone purchasing a wooki or already own a wooki would know there preferred lay direction. Warbonnet just streamlined the process of making the xlc for everyone.

As Smilin said. The idea is to buy the XLC first, find out which lay you prefer, and then order the right Wooki. Plus, there are a lot of XLC-users who don't use a Wooki. Most underquilts follow your lay direction.

The other advantage would be the updated XLC resale value given it's flexibility for both right and wrong, normal and abnormal, hangers. Few folks are going to bother to change the XLC lay after setting the lay that works best for them.

I hang ambidextrously, and hence have no problems conforming to my wooki's normal right lay when used in the XLC or DH Sparrow, or venturing abnormal left when using a pad, HG Phoenix, or simply lounging about.
