What size to go for ?

My partner has been using a 9th hammock for a year but finds it uncomfortable. She's looking to upgrade to a single layer warbonnet but unsure what one to go for, the BB or XLC.

She's 5ft4 and doesn't weigh a lot. The price between the two makes no difference. The weight between both hammocks isn't a deal breaker either.

At 5' 4" the BB would be fine, the xlc will have a bigger sweet spot, but either one will work just fine.

Go for the regular BB. The XLC is meant for people over 6ft.

I'm not that short but I am 5' 9" and sent my BB back and got the BBXLC. The BB XLC is more comfortable in my opinion.

I think the new XLC also has more features than the current Blackbird.

Maybe she can go to a hang/event and try one.
That was how I found out I like the bridge hammock better.

I am 5'5" and have bothe the xlc and reg. BB. The xlc is very comfortable and Like mentioned above has more options. I would go for the xlc.

    From Warbonnet website Hammock 101.....
The BB vs XLC…The BB vs XLC…These are basically the same model, with the XLC being longer and having a removable top and more accessories. The BB is good for someone up to 6′, and the XLC up to 6’6″, however folks 5’10” and above will normally have noticeably more comfort in the longer XLC, so if max comfort is a major consideration, folks 5’10-11″ should go with the longer XLC if looking for max comfort or the BB if looking for max weight savings.
