I am loving this design. I just got back from a cold night without enough tarp coverage using my ASYM wide tarp. Any update on that tutorial article?

I came across this old thread when searching for feature inspiration for an upcoming project. A couple of questions:

    1. Has it become your INCH tarp? I.e. what's the long term report like?

    2. It looks very much like the dimensions are a mixture of the Mountainfly's width but with either the MiniFly or Thunderfly sized doors.

I did have a list of three overall design options but I think I'll add this as a fourth.

I don't think the author, kitsapcowboy, will be answering you. He disappeared a couple of years ago.

Ah. Won't hold my breath then

I've been looking at various *Fly reviews and it seems that the Minifly's doors are 16" so that would appear to answer question #2. With that info and looking at the Warbonnet site it looks like the Thunderfly adds 8" to the doors and the Mountainfly another 8" (or thereabouts)
