Third Annual "Da Shack" Hang
I am inviting you all to the 2018 summer "Da Shack" Hang in central Wisconsin. June 7,8,9,10, 2018.
Location is Portage County, Highway T, 1/2 mile north of highway MM, and one mile west of the Iola Ski Jump.
Will be feasting, hiking the Ice Age Trail, playing at the lake, and feasting. Tons of dry split oak awaits your pyrotechniques.

Here is a little help finding Da Shack for those who have never been.

Go to the Iola Winter Sports Club website then click the "Activities/Location" tab near the top of the screen. Scroll down to the bottom and on the righthand side there is a map. Click the "View Larger Map" tab. Turn on "Satellite" mode and it is all downhill from here. "Da Shack" is just a skosh NW (up and left) of the red pin showing the location of the Iola Winter Sports Club.

HOLY MOLEY!!! As I was watching the evening news, I was thinking about when you were going to have this hang! I opened up HF to write to you and ask you about it all. And there is your post!!! I must have been reading your mind! (Weird thoughts are in there!)

I've PM'd you the map address. I'll whip up a nifty spreadsheet for you and send that tonight.

Early arrivals are certainly welcome.
Building a new outhouse is long time desired addition project, but cannot seem to get past initial plans stage. I can make sawdust, however every time I cut a board it just gets shorter until it is ready for the burn pile.

I’m so happy to finally have the days off to go ! I haven’t filled out the food part of the spreadsheet yet, need to think about that. Is there a fridge in daShack? Or is parking close enough that you can access a cooler?
