Your existing line-lock hooks/cord can be used to snap onto the o-ring. Can be used to stake out, and to hold the doors open over the top.

Fairly certain these o-rings from diygearsupply are too small/thin.

    Questoutfitters o-rings - But they're description isn't very descriptive.

Dutch's 1/2" d-rings work great, but they'll look odd if tying on.

Here's some at USA Lanyards the right thickness, but I have no idea of their durability.

Your hooks will snap on to 1/2" beastie dees as well.

Ok, I think I understand now. Currently I just have a loop of zingit ties to my timeouts in my Superfly. You’re saying get an o-ring that the hook will snap into and feed my lashit loop through the o-ring. That way I can clip my hook into the o-ring.

That just might work, thanks for the tip.

I use LineLoc 3's from Zpacks. They have a loop of grosgrain sewn on and you just girth hitch onto your split ring, plastic triangle, or whatever attachment point your tarp has.
Go to their website, click on "accessories", then select "cord locks, Linelocs".
