Received an email from Jonas and the guys. It seems that starting here in March they have decided to sell only directly to other hammock campers and as a result the prices have dropped substantially.

I'd still like to see the segl drop a bit more. $80 is still more than I'd spend on a lounger
Probably got their cost of manufacturing down by mass producing in 3rd world countries...not a true cottage product. The price is attractive however, if quality has not suffered.

We still produce at the same factory in Vietnam, which we have used for several years now, and Jonas visits twice a year.
Reasonbeing that they produce gear for extreme sports like hang gliding and paragliding etc. this makes their
sewing quality top notch. This was the most important part of the puzzle for us when producing high end gear like Draumr.
However, the prices has only dropped on the American market because we are selling directly to the consumer and not due to mass producing, we are not that big yet
In our home market in Norway and the EU we still sell to the old price point due to the retail mark up.

Yes thats correct TikkerThe factory we have used for the last couple of years is called Aerotact.
They specialize in harnesses for paragliding which makes their quality control very good.
