Is it possible to use snake skins for my tarp if I use a continuous ridge-line for the tarp as well? I have never used snake skins and have an interest in trying them, but I set up with a continuous ridge-line.

It (they) work great with a CRL. Mine sits just at the end of my tarp on one end, and encompasses the CRL along with the tarp.
My tarp skins have pockets on the ends so I just figure 8 the cordage and tuck them into the pockets.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
Thanks for the info everyone.
Im going to have to get a set and give it a try.

I put split rings on my tarp and nama gear claws on my CRL. I put up my CRL then pull out my tarp. Rings to claws and tighten. I suppose my biggest risk is leaving my CRL at home. I have never done that but it's possible, I've left poles for my bridge hammock at home...
I just put my just arrived snake skins ( Little Shop of Hammocks) on my tarp, first set up [ATTACH=CONFIG]161945[/ATTACH, with a crl.
It works awesome. The crl is within the skins.
The first time I went hammocking was a learning experience, and I did not have the bling, I see this way as way easier to set up and pack up! 54267021674__42459D38-E0B4-44F6-843B-F847EEEE3B20.jpg
