    I went to Jared!

Pulled the trigger on a Simply Light Designs Trail Lair hammock. I've been eyeing up new hammocks for a bit now and finally made my choice. Went with the 1.9 multicam and got the wind shield to go with it. 1.9 is a little heavier than my other hammocks but I'm hoping to start bringing my pup with me on trips this year. I'm very excited, will definitely be doing some backyard camping the day it arrives.

I must go now and stare at my mailbox in anticipation of its arrival.

Congratulations! Jared is a real craftsman. I'm the owner of two Trail Lairs, which I consider to be a landmark camping hammock design, so I am envious of your new Wind Shield (and may have to have mine retrofit). You'll like the 1.9 oz fabric; it's firm, comfortable, and quite durable. You won't have to wait too long. Jared is one of the fastest cottage vendors we have when it comes to fully custom gear; I have never had an order placed with him take more than 100 hours from his shop to my mailbox! Enjoy.

New hanger here. Genuinely curious what makes it a landmark design? Thanks!

I too am curious. It appears to be a gathered end hammock with symmetrical tieouts? It looks like a solid hammock. Congrats on the new purchase!

one the first symmetrical and most popular netted with a hex shape net. Also the weather shield is a good innovation, on par with other other 4 season kits

Having ordered from Jared a couple of times I would say you won't have long to wait (that is if you haven't already received it).

Amazed! After ordering Saturday morning I recieved my beautiful hammock yesterday. 48 hours for a custom hammock, that's crazy fast turn around. I can't wait to get this outside for a test nap.

    Thank you Simply Light Designs!!!
