My wife and I were planning a trip to Cumberland Island for her spring break, but there are no reservations available.
So we've started looking at other locations. Any intel on any of the other Georgia barrier islands would be greatly appreciated. We don't own kayaks, so any trip requiring a boat or kayak probably wouldn't work.

Try Jekyll Island. It's near Brunswick, GA. This time of year it may be full as well.
I think we settled on a visit to the swamp instead. We're going to visit Stephen Foster SP in the heart of the Okefenokee, maybe try our hand at some canoeing and gator rasslin.
I did a lot of research for Cumberland Island and was really excited about it, and still am but the realization of anticipation will have to be delayed. This will be a different type of adventure for us but I'm excited about it as well, I love the area and have been wanting to try some paddling. We will still definitely have our hammocks along! Thanks for the input!
