    Stokes state forest storm damage

Looks like stokes state forest as well as others have taken the nor easters pretty hard
    Not good for us hangars
Most if not all sites are closed for next two weeks for tree cleanup
Hope there is still some trees left in my spots

I have our favorite spot reserved for Memorial Day weekend. I may have to pay a visit to check things out. Bummer.

The good news is that many of the weak limb "widowmakers" will have come down in these storms and improve safety for the season! (Of course we should still give site selection our due diligence.)

    so stokes looks ok
unsure why only the 6 sites are open
site 15-19 and 12 + 1 are all that is open for next few weeks
    snowpack is just about gone
only real tree damage was in site 135,136 in shotwell
the lake site looked mostly unscathed
a few trees down, one right in a spot i have hung on before
that would have been game over, tree from across road came down right where i have been in the past
    plenty of firewood around
