I wanted to let everyone know that the GEAUX Hammock Gear website is now up and running. http://www.geauxhammockgear.com

I started off in 2013 DIYing all of my hammock gear which led to other people asking me to make hammocks and gear for them. That has progressed over the last few years to the point that we now keep our hammocks in stock and are opening a website that will be geared more toward the hammock camper. All of our in stock hammocks are made with 1.9 oz rip stop nylon (from Rip Stop By The Roll), are 132" x 58", come with a double ended stuff sack, are available in six colors and your choice of three types of suspension (or no suspension). All of our hammocks are sewn in the USA.

We also sell individual components such as Amsteel 7/64" continuous loops, tree straps, cinch buckle loops, 15kN hammock carabiners and daisy chain straps. I live in Louisiana but originally from Arkansas. We have a commercial sewing facility in Arkansas but for right now, we sew our hammocks in Louisiana. If orders start becoming more than we can handle here, we can supplement our production with the facility in Arkansas. I still sew all custom work like tarps, quilts and custom hammocks and will hopefully be adding that aspect to our website in the near future (also in Louisiana). I just don't want to move to fast. We want to earn a good reputation on our hammock, our customer service and our shipping. Once we get settled in to that, we will start adding some other gear. Good thing is I have been buying our fabric and components for four years so we have a good relationship with our suppliers. Thanks for checking us out!

I'm going to put my ignorance on display...how do you pronounce GEAUX? GEO? Go? Otherwise I'll always think of it as yet another weird name I can't pronounce.
