My Loco Libre Arsenal of quilts

A long time ago I promised some pictures of my Saver Series 20 degree underquilt and I never paid up. Today I just received a 40 degree Saver Series Top quilt and Custom Sub Zero top quilt from Loco Libre. It is time I pay up with some photos!

Now I have to say... I am so thoroughly impressed with George's quilts. Especially the work he put into my Custom Top quilt. It is a work of art and there's no good way for me to convey that. The pictures don't even capture just how beautiful it is in person. Without further delay... here are the quilts!

P.S. Keep in mind that my camera is doing an abysmal job of capturing the colors and beauty of these. They are all lofty as heck and the stitching is immaculate. As a guy who does several of his own DIY projects and works on them very carefully... I have no idea how they do such a perfect job with their stitching. And as a last note: I don't think the overfill was necessary at all. I'm just a bit of a freak who likes the extra fill.

40 Degree SS TP with 1 ounce overfill. Ordered wide and very long.

Custom 0 Degree with all the minus series features and heavily overfilled. Wide and Extra long.

I sincerely want to thank George and his team for putting these together for me. As someone who DIYs these type of things, I genuinely can say I will never be able to make these at your caliber and I feel very thankful that I can purchase these beautiful/functional pieces from you.

You have fantastic taste in quilts; I think I got my wife exactly the same 40-degree top quilt as yours for our anniversary last year -- and I ordered it extra long and wide like yours just so I could steal it from her!

George is a master of calendared nylon and down, and I feel the same gratitude as you do being one of his loyal customers and the recipient of such great handmade outdoor gear products.

I noticed that the extra long length, my crummy camera and shot taking skills makes my wides look quite narrow. It isn't the case in real life. I can measure but I already know through some testing that they are wide enough for me to be comfortable .
