They perform to their temperature rating while being quite light. Great to use in layers down to 10°F (-12°C). I've personally used them down to 14°F (-10°C) with base layers and I was warm.
Water beads off the outer 20 denier (D) fabric for a good amount of time. The inner 10D fabric is silky smooth. Very breathable.
I haven't tested this but the synthetic insulation is supposed to work even when wet so it can act as insurance when used as an outer quilt or in very warm weather.
Used 6 nights with clean clothes. Handled with care. No wear or damage. No loose stitching. No down escaped the shell. Pictures taken in Jan 2018. Stored uncompressed in large bag. Smoke-free home. No pets.
