    I just noticed that Dutch includes the weight of this set on the website. I am curious why people would take these backpacking. Either that or Dutch just loves to weigh things.

    It's probably so that if you are flying somewhere and want to do some splicing once you arrive, you know how much weight they will add to your checked bag.

    Just ordered a set of these. I picked up a 180' roll of zing-it and have been making tarp lines, tarp ridge lines, and other bits of useful cordage... Getting the burries in the zing-it is a pain!
