I use Reflective cordage, I think Glowire. I don't use hardware or shockcord tension adjusters on tie outs. I larkshead mason line prussics directly to tarp D-rings and run the glowire through it right at the tarp. Mason line or Zing-it prussics hold and adjust well on the reflective cordage being different diameters.

I would use Zingit and put a reflective piece of tape on them if you really feel the need for reflection on your line. I’ve got some zingit I’ve been using on an older tarp since 2006 and it’s still holding up like new. Also, I find that reflect line tends to have too much strechablility and therefore won’t secure as snuggly. Good luck

I've become a big fan of the glow in the dark triangle line-locs attached to a small shockcord loop (which attaches to the tarp). They seem to work with some 1.3mm cord I have, but the bite of the cleat isn't quite as secure as it is using zing-it.
Resurrecting an ancient thread, but for anyone still using Micro Cord, Line Lock Vs (I get them from Dutchware - https://dutchwaregear.com/product/line-lock-v/) work well with it. I've been using them with reflective micro cord for the past two years. I had one that started slipping a bit and took a small file to it to "sharpen" the notch. No slipping since then.

I've been using the slide locks from Dutchware, which are like little cinch buckles and they seem to work well with the 1.3 mm Dutch reflective cord.
