So along with my new hammock i thought i would get a new tarp as well. The tarp i was using is a Grand trunk funky forest tarp.
The tarp i bought came off amazon. It's the roman ventures tarp. they claim center line is 13 ft. and more durable then an eno tarp. With about the same weight. They claim the tarp is 23 oz and is completely water proof. I wont know til it gets here. but I am hoping it works out. Does any one have any experience with these tarps?
So if anyone is curious about this tarp I just put up a couple pictures in the gallery.

It has a lot of room . It came sealed and taped. For under 30 I think it's a nice tarp. 23 ounces just as advertised. I think I am going to add some tabs to it with it being 13 feet long I have more then enough room to make doors.
I might pick one up for our guest hammock. Going to find your pictures somehow...

That's a really good price for the size and weight considering the JRB universal 12x10 flat cut tarp costs much more than $30, although the JRB Univ Tarp has 24 tieouts, and multiple pole pockets/ tarp pullouts built in already, hence the higher cost. It also only weighs 21 oz for that large tarp. I has about 10 less SF of coverage though than the Roman Ventures Palace Tarp!
So far seems well made. I'm going to do some more testing with it tomarrow
