Do you kniw how long this trail is? I am deciding whether or not to bring my dog. He's good for about 5 miles or so.

We should be coming in Friday afternoon and I'll be preparing the beef tenderloin for those that would like to have any. I'll probably prep a couple or a few whole tenderloin so there should be plenty for everyone I hope lol. That will be Friday nights meal that I'll have as we have before and then Saturday morning I will look to do biscuits and saw mill gravy. Then Saturday night I'm gonna try a different meal and do neat loaf and potatoes. Then cobbler for after. Hit me up if you are interested and that will give me a rough idea of what all to buy. Otherwise I'm sure I'll have plenty to cover those that aren't sure as of yet.
    Excited to see u guys
    That sounds amazing!

Trail? So do we get a trail this time, Thomas?

Seriously, I don't think it's a trail. These guys don't believe in that but i do remember someone saying it's around 5-6 miles but im not sure if that includes side trips.

And the food is the absolute best you will find around a campfire! That beef tenderloin!!! Unbelievable!

Haha...I have been on "trails" like that before. I have taken the pup 9 miles before, but he was exhausted after 7. I want him to have fun, not be like "Mom, are we done walking yet??" LOL

I'm thinking about 4+miles hiking in Quillen. One mile to the creek (old roadbed) then about half mile down the Creek then maybe a mile back up creek to the old gristmill site. Side trips coming back like Kinlock area? That's less than a mile if anyone stops to see the Kinlock area.
