    Winter palace ridgerunner-pole mod

Thinking of seeing if I can get one made in a 13’ ridgeline for my RR. Anyone have one, thoughts?
Better yet pics? Also, can you use an external polemod safely if you use a crl to keep it up off the cuban fiber?

I let the pole mod rest on top of my CF tarp. I’ve had no issues.

Do this with your tarp and trekking poles and you are good to go!

*HangMan*, I've been wondering if this would hold up over time. How long have you been using this setup?

    Hangman,

How do you keep the poles from rolling forward or backwards, in say windy conditions or when you get in and out of the hammock? Can you give a closeup of where the pole and ridge line meet? I cant tell if the trekking pole is resting only on the tarp fabric or if there is a seperate ridgeline, that the pole is laying across.

Thank you in advance for the help.

    Bob

Just FYI, HG will position the pull-outs wherever you want, so map it out first. I had them use the same spacing as with my Cloudburst tarp.
