75 inches on the Thunderfly. Its slightly more on the MiniFly and less on the Mountainfly because the closer to the ridgline the sides are the wider this measurement is. I did a review on my Thunderfly and measured all the sides and doors.

I agree! Well done. I just got my new Thunderfly sealed and a new mesh sleeve on last night. Allr eady for a trip starting Thursday. It's going to be 69-76° and sunny the entire time, so not much of a test. But I'm not complaining!

Looking at your photos, I'm glad I went with the Thunderfly. I'm getting mini doors on this model, so the last thing I want to do it skimp on the width. Great porch mode tarp!

Two Thunderflys hanging in the White Mountains last weekend. I am loving my Thunderfly and the fact that it covers the bottom of my hammock without engulfing me completely.

Exactly! I was just out with this for the first time and I'm sold! My Mamajamba will likely sit on a shelf a lot more going forward. It's basically the same thing - only 4" shorter on each side but the mini doors are a life saver. I had a day of off/on showers and even without much wind that rain finds it's way under with the slightest breeze. The doors really helped and I like pulling them out for form a beak. Porch mode the whole time; I simply could not spare any more on width though (Minifly)

Man, I wish I would have known that I would have bid on your MJ😀. I'm probably the only one who didn't order a 1/2 door model during the sale, I got a plain olé MJ instead. I luckily kept my doors, they fit both my cloudburst and MJ. But I usually only put on one side on. Big sides on the MJ plus a full door on the windward side of storm equal dryness.
Then again, I gotta admit, this 1/2 door stuff is intriguing.

I'll definitely hang onto it. I used the MJ since 2012 and never had a problem. When I felt like I needed doors on a few trips, it wasn't a huge deal. Some sleet blowing in back in April, some other times I ran low on dry room under the tarp. But it's still a keeper depending on the weather. The Thunderfly is only 4.5" inches shorter than the Mamajmaba on the side, so still great in porch mode. And the mini doors really add a lot of dry space. I totally recommend both tarps.

Will the thunderfly work with grizzbridge style hammock without rubbing?

I have a minifly and mountainfly, and have no issues hanging my Towns-End bridges underneath. They are as wide or wider than a JRB BMBH and Ridgerunner, so don't think you'll have any issues!

Shug has a video with the Thunderfly and Minifly and shows a Ridgerunner under one of them.

I enjoy all the feedback and the excellent tarp conversation, I am still with only one tarp and its the Superfly but leaning more towards the Minifly, I'm just waiting for some feedback from the mini-flyers that have had some experiences in the back woods with it to confirm purchase.
