I have a minifly, and it does the job really well. It is light, takes up no space to speak of in my pack, and protects in the weather. I keep it in a net snakeskin. Set up close to the hammock it has enough coverage to stay dry in pretty much any weather, but it isn't spacious. I have an HG Standard with doors that I take if I expect a lot of weather issues, but it takes up a lot of space in the pack. They weigh about the same. It's like having a 3/4 UQ or a full length. There are pluses and minuses.
