FS: Spinn Tarp and Dyneema Grizz Beak

You want an awesome, reasonably priced, lightweight tarp setup that will not only keep you dry but will be the envy of your hammock tribe? Well, here it is...Everything needed to hang this tarp setup is included in the sale.

OES Spinn Tarp- 10 oz in the stuffsack with all hardware and rigging inside. 125” x 84”. $90.00

2QZQ Dyneema (Cuben) Grizz Beak- 1.25 oz. Brand new; never been in the woods. $65.00 ($10 less than new price).

This is being offered as a “package deal” and I do not plan to split it up. $155.00 total.

Open Kimono Comment: The only reason I am selling this is to fund another gear purchase. This gear is in excellent shape and is being offered at a price that is drastically reduced below the price I bought it for. In other words, this is a good deal. 😎

Conus shipping included in price. Also posted on another site...

    Best,
    Grapenut

I'm having trouble finding that tarp online, specifically the "spinn" word - is it basically a MacCat "SilPro" cat cut hex tarp, with the Grizz Break dyneema "door" for additional coverage on one side?

This may get deleted but here goes... Spinn was an in-demand material, short for spinnaker cloth, a sailing material. It was light (not as light as cuben fiber/dyneema/whatever-its-called) and expensive at the time. It performed very well compared to silnylon and I believe it was lighter. I'm one of the owners of this for-sale tarp and it's made very well from OES. If I hiked more and was focused on saving weight, this would be a consideration. Hope that helps.

If the MacCat SilPro dimensions are the same then yes. That tarp is this tarp but made with a different material that is no longer offered by OES, Gossamer Gear, MLD, etc. hope that helps.
