    HYOH Podcast - Episode 29 (Hangcon 2018)

This month, Mark and Jonathan travel to Ocala National Forest in Florida for the Hangcon 2018 group hang. We did a live recording of the episode this month, chatting about the future of hammock camping with a couple of folks you might recall: Gresh and Spiguyver, as well as a new guest: Tripsmith. After our initial conversation, we chat with everyone about what they’d like to see in the future, and then finally the stuff they do/don’t take with them on a backpacking or camping trip. While a little bit colder than expected, it was a great podcast recording and tons of fun meeting folks there who have listened to our podcast in the past.

Thanks so much to the organizers of the group hang, Gumbo and Timberr, who put so much effort into making this a great experience for everyone.

I've been waiting for this podcast. Thank you both for coming down and visiting us. Also, for bringing in a little North Winter to us. It was really enjoyable to be in the 20's to test my gear.

Like lilricky said, I also hope yall come on back next year. Hopefully for more time as well.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

It was great, and hopefully we’ll be able to make it back sometime. I know Mark really enjoyed sampling all of those tasty moonshines!

Yea, those can be dangerous. Think I was still feeling it on tuesday at work.

Really looking forward to try and make it again next year. Definitely have to make up there earlier though. Missed out on a lot on Saturday. Lots of great people there.

I honestly didn't get through the first 5 minutes. The sound quality was horrible. Not so much the background but the echo like you were in a cave. I listen while driving and I just couldn't.

Yes, I agree that the audio was rougher earlier on in the recording. It gets a little better later on, be patient with this one. My primary audio pooped out on me and I had to fall back on my backup recording.

audio was fine for me, really enjoyed the podcast! I want to know what happened to mbal1856's Kelty tarp? Sounds like a good story, and maybe a lesson for us?

The audio was great for me, I was sitting right next to them the whole time they were recording.
