Frozen Butt Hang 2018
Wow, what a great weekend! Amazing folks, amazing food, amazing memories. We broke the attendance record we set at last Frozen Butt. We had 67 hangers and guests over the weekend!! 20 of those were new folks who had never been to a PSH hang before! That's an awesome turn out for ANY hang, especially a cold, winter one! Every single person who came helped make this the BEST Frozen Butt, yet! A huge THANK YOU to each person who came, hung, shared stories and laughs, brought food or supplies, brought extra gear, helped new folks get set up, brought White Elephant gifts, supported the Gear Trailer 50/50 raffle, pitched in to help in countless ways and mostly for being the friendliest bunch of folks to be found! A special THANK YOU to "Dosei" for brewing his magic beans into liquid fuel known as coffee, to Bloomer and his sous chef, Kim for smoking up mouth watering scrumptious Porky pig, to Mike for bringing firewood and Adam (and whoever else helped) for splitting it and building an awesome fire last night, to Glen, Gopher, Richard, Maddog, Prof, Jason, Pudden, Round-trip Raven, Brother Bones, and Pilgrim (I'm sure I've forgotten someone) for helping set up the camp kitchen and cooking up scrumptious breakfast dishes, to Pudden for entertaining us with ghost stories around the campfire and to Brother Bones for leading us in a time of worship this morning surrounded by God's creation. If I could, I would name each and every one of you. THANK YOU! PSH is awesome because it is made up of caring, giving, selfless folks! Can't wait to do it all over again!
PSH made a donation to Palmetto Campout at Sesquicentennial State Park in the amount of $1350, the total of our Fall Sprawl gear raffle! Stacey Howe Jensen, who coordinates the program, accepted the gift and told us about the upcoming campout weekend March 24-25. Stay tuned for how you can volunteer during this year's Palmetto Campout!
