The Kickstarter campaign didn't reach it's funding goal so is this still available?

Yes, I recently formed Efficient Inventions LLC and am offering it through that business.

    Thanks,

I'm curious if it's actually been tested with a 90* hammock (Amok Draumr, exped ergo, luke's, etc) I kinda think it's not tall enough

So far it's been tested successfully with a WBBB XLC, ENO double nest, and a generic double nest hammock. You don't use hammock straps with these stands, rather you simply attach a carabiner directly to the tie out points of the hammock.

Thanks. The hammock stands come with two 30 inch earth anchors to secure the stands to the ground. For more info check out http://www.efficientinventions.com/about

There's a picture on that page showing what comes with the kit plus set-up instructions.

The concept is interesting. Maybe if one side was 4’ and the other 5’, and there was some extension to support a tarp it might work for camping. It’s a great idea for lounging in your Enos at the beach.

Sorry, didn't see your other question. Yes, on cement/tile floor you'd need to anchor latching points for the hammock stand carabiner to clasp to. Perhaps using something like a concrete wedge anchor bolt and bracket to latch to?

Thanks. Yeah, I have simply used a couple of formed pieces of Aluminum angle inserted into on of the stand side supports to support my tarp. I also put a rubber stop at the tip of the angle to protect the tarp and line.
