Hey Megan, That sounds like a good idea, can we go farther upstream to check out the islands though? Not sure I want to go way out, but sounds nice exploring a bunch of islands. And, then people can rent boats if they need to also.
I am trying to make the necessary arrangement to attend. I would love to come up to Maine! I may be by myself, maybe me and my dog, or maybe my wife, myself, and our dog. we'll see.

i have done 3 trips from that location 9 miles out to the open ocean and back. really cool. you try to time it so you could out with the tide, and come in with the tide. we dont have to go that far out, but its really not a bad paddle at all with the tides in your favor, in real sea kayaks.
