ME > 5th Annual Lighthouse Tour and Lobster Hang

ME > 5th Annual Lighthouse Tour and Lobster Hang

    Happy New Years everyone,

I haven't got all the details worked out but i have had some requests for the dates of the lighthouse Hang. The dates are Sept 7,8 and 9 for 2018. I am looking for suggestions from you what you want to see this trip. We can visit the Maine Maritime Museum, or the Perry- MacMillan Artic Museum in Brunswick or another ride to one of the lighthouses up the coast. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to let me know.

    Thanks Tom.
Never too early to start planning for our favorite hang of the year!
    Looking forward to this.

    ps
I have a couple of (non-roughing it) friends that would like to join us this year. I'd like to reserve the cottage or camper for them (2 nights).
I'll check their preference, and will get back to you.

This hang has been held at Phippsburg, ME for several years now.
It is usually this weekend after Labor Day because the Maine lighthouses are "open-house" that weekend. Tom organises a tour along the coast for those interested.
Check the forum trip reports from past years for deetz...

I'm hoping to be there, especially after missing last year's. Thanks for getting this set so early, Tom!

I may be the outlier, but I don't have the need for any formally organized activities (other than eating, of course!). I'd be perfectly happy hiking around the area or possibly taking a kayak trip. Or just lying in my hammock with a good book.

Ditto. I would prefer finding a kayak spot.

I think this might be a really nice change up, or at least an option... of course, it kinda takes the "Lighthouses" out of the hang name, but as long as there are still lobsters it's prolly OK.
