The raffle will be in Chinese format. I ask that anyone leaving for any of the stuff on Saturday have any private donations to me before they leave. It’ll take me time to make the bags for those tickets, write descriptions, etc.

Two more donations in hand. Behring Made Knives, and DLT trading have both returned from previous years, and seriously stepped up the donations. That’s why I love this group. I constantly have vendors telling me we’re the most thankful group they donate to. I know many of our members reach out to each and every vendor to thank them, even if they don’t win something.

I’d also like to give a shout out to Tim from PatchOps.com. He hooked us up with a serious deal on new patches. John Evan and I covered these out of pocket, so we’ll be selling them at cost to recoup the funds @ $3 each, with an optional, but recommended $2 donation to the charity. $3 or $5 for a sweet Velcro backed PVC patch is a great deal. We went PVC this time to be able to bring down the size, while keeping everything legible.

Behring made sent us a $100 gift certificate, a pair of shirts, and a pair of hats.

DLT sent us 2 waterbottles (one from Buck Knives, and one from Benchmade) a shirt, SEVEN knives, and 23x $10 Gift Certificates.

What a generous group of vendors! This group's spirit reminds me of my beloved BCUSA community

I wish Ted and I could do some of the activities on Saturday (Would love to visit some lighthouses. I did my first short kayak trip last weekend and it was sooo much fun!), but we'll be headed up to Lubec, mid-morning on Saturday. We'll have another good 7+ hours to get to our destination, but what a terrific way to start our vacation!!

Has a decision been made about people who are joining you for part of the weekend but won't be able to be there in person for the raffle? I am totally buying one of those patches! I want to memorialize my first official "hang"

Might seem a bit odd for a donation, but at 3 1/2 ounces each, these ought to keep the raffle bags in place....

I’m fine with someone winning by Proxy, as long as someone is on site to claim the prize. I’m not going to be anyone’s proxy, as I’ll be to busy running the raffle. I’m sure someone will be willing to help you out. I’ll have all of the vendor donations up Saturday morning for everyone to look at, weather permitting. So it should be fairly easy for you to decide where to put the tickets.

Are there any kind souls who would be willing to be a proxy for me and hubby for the raffle? I have a current paypal account and am well known as a quick payer. If we won anything I could pay immediately (friends/family) for shipping (as long as we get enough reception up in Lubec to send funds LOL!).
