Im 5’8” and have the standard 0* Incubator. It more than covers me head to foot, I’m sure you will be fine with it.
My personal thought is it depends on the temp rating you’re ordering. For 0 or 20, I would opt for the extra coverage just to make sure. The weight and pckability difference isn’t that big. If it’s for anything 30 or over, you could more easily get by with a shorter one.
HYOH, either way I can tell you I love my Incubator.

Thanks for the advise. I will go with standard length Incubator 20. Not sure if I hike enough to justify buying multiple UQs, so this one should be universal enough for March-October hiking season here in New England.

A 20 is very versatile. I've been into the single digits easily, but probably not something to plan on doing often just in case. Another nice thing about the standard/full length is breakfast from the hammock! When you scoot up into a sitting position, a good portion or maybe even all of your back will still be covered. I always do this, even just for my morning coffee if nothing else.

    Good luck!

Wise decision to follow the makers recommendation. Especially with the incubator and being a new user. The incubator is shaped to fit a human body's form. Getting one that is the proper size ensures proper fitment more so than a standard rectangular quilt.
