I put zipper down one end seam about 18-20" long. It allows me to install or remove it easily as well as deploy it over my UQ. I tried Velcro but found for me it snagged to the netting to much so switched out for a zipper.

Noob question. How does one use the Fronkey bug net with an underquilt? Does the bug net go outside or inside the UQ?

I see this is a stale thread, but the conversation was closest to what I was looking for advice with. I made my bugnet by modifying a military bunk bugnet I got for free from a friend. It is a thicker durable material resulting in a comparably heavier bugnet than I could purchase, but free is free, so I'll deal with the weight for now.
Currently, I have been packing the hammock in its attached pouch and rolling up the bugnet separately. This thread answered one question about keeping the bugnet on and packing it all together. Given that my bugnet is a tough material, probably not easy to rip, I was wondering if anyone else just wrapped/rolled their hammock in the bugnet like it was a snakeskin?

Yes. I stuff it all in my compression bag. I notice walmart doesn't have those curtains anymore. not around me anyway I'm glad I got mine done when I did.

I put a channel in the ends of mine with shock cord and cord lock. I have about an 8" opening on each end. It makes it easy to reach through with the CL when first setting it up.

Having the mod allows me to move it off to one side when I'm putting the quilts in place.....also it's nice to be able to move it out of the way when lounging..... btw, I don't draw bugnet in at the bottom in anymore....I just leave it opened wide....

lol, I leave everything on and pack it all together. fronkey net, hammock, and uq all stay connected and get packed in 1 bag. tq also. tq goes in first then the rest gets packed in all together. super quick set up, never had an issue.
My worst night in a hammock was still better than my best night in a tent!!!!

I leave my net and my UQ attached the entire time. I just bundle the whole thing into a stuff sack, starting at one loop and ending at the other. Makes deployment easy. Never understood why people insist on detaching everything.
