What did guy think of your hammock suspension by the end of this? I can’t recall the name but recall you showing it to me at the Grayson winter hang and I was intrigued.
Tree strap combo and button link from humming bird hammocks , at less than 3oz it worked great for me

I’m thinking of going next year but with two buds from the AT and worry about staying together if I’m constantly reliant upon trees
Not really much extra effort. I camped near tent people often. I almost never shortened my days but there were a few were I hiked a little further to get off a ridge or something. Most of the camping spots starting in the Sierras have at least one set of ok trees. I have the some of the ones I found in the dessert saved to share on my to do list.

You may have mentioned this before, but what is the hammock length?

Thanks Shug! Used many of your videos as reference for my trip. The one for setting up your tarp on the ground was watched many many times prior to the trip and I only had to do it a few times thankfully.

My hammock is 11'. I have had shorter hammocks but I prefer the 11'.
