I made a nonsymmetrical tarp. I used 11 yards of Xenon wide. I designed it to have one side come down form the ridge line at a 60° angle and the other side to come down at a 45° angle. I set up so the side of the hammock with the zipper will be on the 45° side leaving most of the space under the tarp on the side I will be on.

This is what the 3 views should look like. I found I am not a seamstress. My seams took up more fabric than I had budgeted for. I have adjusted the cutout dimensions to allow for a little wider seams and hem.

I have had a Superfly for years and it has served me well through many a storm that would have shredded a lesser tarp but it is getting old and I wanted something bigger especially for colder weather. My pole mod poles for the Superfly fit on this tarp well and open up lots of room inside. It weighs 31 Oz with tie out string and continuous ridge line and stuff sack. I used the magnetic door latches and they work well.
