Looks like we will all prolly be well advised to work out some kind of fan or other cooling to stay comfortable... but it really doesn't look like it will be that bad. There is alway the lake for a dip...



My app is pretty reliable, and this is the current outlook

It needs to rain, how else am I supposed to know my new tarp works? Just as long as it stops before my bike ride home.

I will be testing another new tarp too Bri! A bit-0-rain would work out perfectly, to see if I really need to seam-seal the pull-outs (as Dutch recommends). I will have a back-up, in case I need it.

Sure come and visit . Sometimes they will charge you at the gate sometimes not. Add your full name to the sign up sheet and note that you are just visiting. I make a chart to handover to the rangers.

FOOD TALK TIME~~ what are people thinking of bringing to share?

Snaggz confirmed to me that he is gonna have his smoker box along, so I was thinking I might do a 3lb venison roast I have.... are there enough venison eaters to polish it off?

I am working on getting a variety of bug repellents donated for me to review on my blog.
I am hoping to have them all in hand by the hang.
Are you guys up for being guinea pigs to see what works for you?
I will minimally have 4-5 types, "natural" and unnatural, and including some 24hr patches and bracelets.
My "problem" is that bugs don't really bother me, so, I'm a lousy test subject.

[The bribery factor here is that I may also be talked into sharing some of the various snack bars that are also incoming for review from HuppyBar and Kate's Good Eats, and maybe others]

I will GLADLY be a test subject! Mosquitoes LOVE me and the feeling is absolutely not reciprocated.

I'm sure it'll disappear just fine.

I'm hoping to do cooler corn as long as I can have someone bring a cooler and a large pot for me. Still planing on riding my bike, so getting those supplies to HP would be difficult.
