Mount Washington 4 and Chameleon Wide

Just wanted to say that my JRB MW4 fit was great on the Chameleon wide and Beetle Buckles. The MW4 suspension just simply attached to the Beetle Buckle. No fiddle, just an easy adjustment when inside the hammock. Warm, no cold spots. My thermometer showed a low of 35 under the tarp at Hangcon. Along with the JRB Old Rag Mountain it fit in a large Lazy Slug Tube but the LST was at its max. The LST was a big help because I arrived at Hangcon after dark and just before rain, providing an easy set up (with a Superfly in snake skins). Put orange twist ties on the continuous loop and suspension cord to make finding the loops easier in the dark. With the cold snap north of Atlanta, I will try for a 14 degree test of my cold weather setup.

Right on. People have been attesting to the modest temperature rating of JRB products. Shug took his High Sierra Sniveller down to some extreme subzero temperatures recently. Pretty awesome considering it’s rated for about 5 degrees.

    What was Shug wearing?
"...in Florida, she felt air conditioning for the first time, and it was cold and unnatural upon her skin."
