Cool. Thanks for the offers y all. If my daughter comes she will need to borrow gear too.

She doesn't want to hike though. She just wants to camp. She will be 18.

My other unanswered question is are all ages invited. My 15 yr old (turns 16in Apr) wants to come.

I went on the first one, and it was really fun. The hikes weren't that tough except for the rocks and the road section over the dam. I really liked the area and have wanted to go back since that first death march. Put me down as a maybe

I will be back this year! Amy will not be making it, as she will be watching our son, so that daddy can play. Chase is just over a month old. I will be completing it this year. I have completely overhauled my gear, with a much lighter pack ( and bank account ), as well as several other hikes under my belt. Tony, I have been practicing with full gear hikes on elevation on Saturday and Sunday mornings, a lot of these workouts are 5 - 6 miles each morning. I won't have to ditch you, this time!

Haha glad to see you'll be back. I'll only be doing the first 7 miles like last year and I'll be lagging back as usual

If you can't hike it all, I will pick you up in the boat, no worries; I can also take your gear so you can hike farther on your own. Teens are allowed and welcomed, but there will be adult beverages and maybe adult language (but not too bad, we are, after all, decent people...for the most part)! Yes the alfredo has rabbit meat, New Zealand Whites to be exact, and it is awesome!

Okay, two weeks and counting; clean off the gear, tape up the holes, kiss your loved ones goodbye and make sure your life insurance is paid up!

I have a PayPal account set up for this years money laundering, er, I mean, food and beer money.

Click the link and pay $25, a little more if you want me to pick up your adult beverage of choice; and let me know what flavor of adult beverage you want.

    April 6, 7 and 8.

Tejas is the meet up and hike in to Cedar Hollow, then on to Russell Saturday, then back to Tejas on Sunday (Saturday is a loooong day).

Uncle Mike and I will be the camp cooks and boat operators.

Any questions? No? Good! Pay up and let's get our hike on!

Also, I'm not doing a sign up sheet this year, just post here or in the Texas Hammock Hangers facebook group and I will keep everything straight (yea, right!).
