I am slow to write reviews, because I like to test things, and take my time doing it. I have no complaints, but a few things to write about...
First off, quality of work! It is impeccable, and I am happy with everything I've gotten! From zipper mods to tree stoves, everything is well made and well thought out. Thank you so much for that!
Zipper mods: I've sent three Hennessy hammocks in, one for a Mod 3, two with Mod 2 at the same time. The work looks as good, if not better than from Hennessy, and having the zipped bug net with side entry, while still keeping the bottom entry makes all three hammocks perfect, in my opinion.
Having played with both these mods, I think I prefer the Mod 3 more, which was unexpected. I found myself missing the ability to position the two zipper pulls anywhere along the side with the net zipped shut. The Mod 2, having one pull for each side, doesn't allow this. It's nothing wrong with the mod, I just thought I would like it more than I do. That said, I thoroughly enjoy both mods!
Tree table: Great piece of hardware, sturdy, and easy to use. After a long day of bikepacking, it's nice to be able to cook without bending over! I did modify mine, drilling and tapping a hole so I can attach it to a stake, and use it as a hammock-side table for brrrreakfast from the hammock!
Underquilt Protector: Handy to keep with you, just in case. It packs down tiny, and is easy to use and adjust. Definitely adds some warmth to the underquilt, and would help keep the weather off it to boot. I'm glad I have it!
Communication/customer support: When I submitted my order to send in two hammocks recently, Donna was on vacation, and was nice enough to call me and let me know of the delay. You can't beat that!
All in all, I'm a happy customer, and a happier camper, thanks to you!
