    DIY Bootie Patterns? (Synthetic Preferred)

So, I've got my sleep system (insulation + clothing) figured out so I can sleep down to 30*F, although 40*F is more conservative (and comfortable). The problem is I get cold feet. I've tried some different things with the gear I do have, but nothing really worked. Even now, in my 70*F house with socks on, my toes are [slightly] chilled.

Anyway, I did some research and I want to make some synthetic booties. I've seen some pictures of similar projects and it looks pretty straight forward. I'm thinking I can make the prototype pair from an old comforter as a shortcut. The pictures I've found are helpful, buy I'm no DIY veteran and an actual pattern would be a huge help. Has anyone seen one? Two examples of the other projects I've seen are linked below.

This is the best pattern I’ve come across: http://www.thegreenpepper.com/produc...oties-pattern/

Be aware some people find down booties really tricky to walk in.

I discovered Alpaca Fur is very warm and resiliant. A friend showed me how to felt baby alpacka fleece into insoles for my winter boots. Amazing!
Knitted socks are very warm, soft and light along with tough.

I put extra down in the foot box of my TQ. I have tried the reuseable heat packs attatched to my foot box for extra foot warming.

I've used it to make synthetic booties for both the wife and I. Worked quite well, and an easy pattern to follow. If I manage to find them, I'll throw up some pics.
