So, I've got my sleep system (insulation + clothing) figured out so I can sleep down to 30*F, although 40*F is more conservative (and comfortable). The problem is I get cold feet. I've tried some different things with the gear I do have, but nothing really worked. Even now, in my 70*F house with socks on, my toes are [slightly] chilled.
Anyway, I did some research and I want to make some synthetic booties. I've seen some pictures of similar projects and it looks pretty straight forward. I'm thinking I can make the prototype pair from an old comforter as a shortcut. The pictures I've found are helpful, buy I'm no DIY veteran and an actual pattern would be a huge help.
