Keeping CL in end channel with Beetle Buckles

Finally got to hang in my Chameleon. Unfortunately it was only for a quick nap. I found it very comfortable. I really like the Beetle Buckles! I do have one question though. What are people doing to keep the CLs in place after taking the hammock down? I had to re-thread the CL through the gathered end of the hammock when it first arrived so I can see this being an issue. My other hammocks with CLs have cinch buckles attached to the CL so they don't come out of the gathered end channel. With the Beetle Buckle design there is nothing attached to the CL once disconnected. Figure there must be a trick such as a zip tie or whipping.

    1) Run one side of the loop thru the other (may come undone unless you cinch it down on itself)

    2) tie both sides together loosely w/thread (easy, will work)

The CL's should be larksheaded (choked) as Otter suggested. Usually, once the hammock has been weighted they tighten up to the point that they require quite an effort to loosen. It may take more than a quick nap though. One full night should do it for sure.

Here is avid to make sure it is set right. Then take two naps and check it in the morning.

Similar to what others have said once you lay on the CLs for a few hours they will not move afterwards. Its actually a chore for me to take the CLs off any of the DutchWare hammocks I have due to how snug they get after using the hammocks a few nights.
