    11' Xenon Winter Tarp Build

Thanks to everyone who helped me working the demons out of my sewing machine the other day. I was able to finish up my winter tarp(first) and take a few pictures to share.

The tarp was made of Xenon wide from DutchWare and dimensions were 11'x10'. I learned(made many many mistakes) more than I wanted to about making a tarp but I am super happy to have gone through the experience. The tarp in its mesh bag with rigging weighed in at 24 oz. If any of you have any more detailed questions let me know.

Nice work! Looks like a great result. Those 'mistakes' give it character, and there is no other tarp anywhere the same as yours.

Also, I love your part of the country there. It's incredibly beautiful.

No mistakes, just happy little accidents! It sure does pitch well! The happy little accidents don’t seem to have much effect on its ability to serve its intended purpose.

That's a fine looking tarp. Congrats. Tarps aren't easy and that is a really good result.

Homemade line tensioners have helped all of my tarps pitch well. I even use them on my cuben fiber tarp.
