Hello Everyone!

I've been helped by HF for well over a year now (looking up hammock gear reviews, hammock stand info, even good places to hammock camp in Ohio), and am finally joining up.

I switched from tent camping to hammock camping when I could never get comfortable side-sleeping on a sleeping pad, and found out about hammock camping online, buying Derek Hansen's e-book, The Ultimate Hang. Then, a friend (not knowing of my new fixation) bought me a hammock as a gift. I haven't looked back since.

HF has such a wealth of information and helpful people, and I'm looking forward to being a member (and not having to search via Google anymore)!

My screen name refers to hiking the last 100km of the Camino of Santiago de Compstela last year--a major item on my bucket list.
