Just had another couple nights in it during a trip to northern Michigan for some winter camping.

So how did the hammock hold up? do you have any other changes you would like to add to it?

No CBS on my end! 0 degree set kept me plenty warm!

I would say everything is perfect. After a couple prototypes, my version is the one Jared sells on his website. The hexon 1.6 is comfortable and the adjustments for the beak storage is simple. It was really handy just reaching above my head to pull out a different set of gloves or hat when I needed it.

That would certainly make for an ultralight winter setup, but I'm not that brave and I value my fingers and toes too much. Link to pic with 0 degree econ uq below:

Do you notice a definite difference in calf ridge? This one of the only hammocks I don't have, now!

I didn't have any issues with calf ridge, but it all depends on your size and type of fabric. I'm 5"10, 185 and this hammock is an 11 footer. For summer, I switch out to my 10' SLD Trail Lair w/net. Both are hexon, but my TL is 1.0 and the Voyageur is 1.6.

All I know is I'm comfortable in it. In cold weather I tend to just hunker in with my quilts and stay on my back most of the night.

Hey, what's one more hammock in the fleet?

Sounds like I need to get one. In Robic 1.7, of course. I've owned probably 15 hammocks from Jared, I am happy to add another.
