How do you keep your lower legs and feet warm with a torso length pad?

I've read of some people using torso length pads. How do you keep your lower legs and feet warm? Are folks just not using any insulation or sticking other things under their legs and feet?

I usually use a small sit pad or just put my jacket under my legs.

    Thank you for the reply!

Jacket: You don't have problems with it compressing and not insulating?
Sit pad: Does it start where your torso pad ends and go all the way to your feet?

Actually, I misread this post - I sometimes use a 3/4 underquilt, and use a sit pad (https://dutchwaregear.com/product/folding-sit-pad/) under my lower legs if there is a cold spot.

Regarding a jacket or whatever clothing, it works fine, but I'm going to use a full length underquilt if it is really cold.

I use a foot pad from arrowhead equipment and it works for my calves down.

I am using a torso length uq rather than a pad, but I put the sit pad inside the foot box of my top quilt. The torso length uq is only not under my head and my feet and ankles. My uq is about the same length as a torso length pad that I have.
