Do you have any plans on adding european retailers? I know atleast warbonnet can deliver to pretty much anywhere, but customs can be a hassle. And they have quite expensive international delivery.
We’ve had a few conversations fizzle. We can deliver anywhere too. The trouble is that it doesn’t cost that much less to ship product in bulk, per unit, to a European retailer than piecemeal. It doesn’t leave the retailer enough margin, when the customers can order direct. This could be solved with much larger order quantities, say partial containers, but there’s insufficient demand yet for that, and we’re operationally still too green to leap to that scale, still changing/improving the product, too.
DIY efforts in Europe have been as successful as elsewhere, and a maker of transverse hammocks is selling a carbon fiber tensahedron specifically for those hammocks, i.e., NOT gathered ends or bridges: https://crosshammock.com/en/shop/carbon-tree/ . It’s so light that it isn’t up to the harder demands of more common hammocks or users over 176lbs, but is otherwise not unlike Tensa4’s first functional prototype.

First time outdoors with my Tensa! Trying out the cheapo Amazon $27 11' tarp and it seems right about perfect in terms of size. It's all coated on the underside so should be good in the rain. We have 12' custom tarps and the thought of dumping another $3-400 on tarps after spending $900 on the stands just wasn't going to happen right now. These should work good and now we have three regular hammocks, two guest hammocks, and SEVEN tarps!! Not to mention tablecloth hammocks and my Amok Segl I won at a group hang raffle. Here's pictures on my setup. If you notice anything glaringly wrong, lemme know! I set it up inside like this and everything was good. Head end tether is just lightly done.

I think it looks fantastic! The 11' tarps fit on the stand just beautifully, and provide plenty of coverage.
I can't believe this is the first time you have had it set up outdoors. Shame on you.

Alright then, I guess that's okay.
I am all on board with these stands. I was able to use it last summer/fall on a few motorcycle trips, and then here and there throughout the winter. I have several motorcycle trips planned this year, mostly short, but a couple long. This stand has opened up all kinds of possibilities that I didn't have before.
