I think a single Orange Screw driven in under the half-stand apex could anchor the feet with a single line in V shape, running along the ground. The pull on the screw would be roughly perpendicular, hard to pull out. If the soil is hard: not going to budge. If the soil is soft, the feet will also tend to dig in a bit and then maybe stop secure with no anchor.

For the stand. Sometimes the UCR slackens off and I have to re-tighten it. I'm wondering if the following would be quicker/easier/more reliable:
Although I am also thinking about buying a new hammock and going with cinch buckles instead of my current whoopie slings. My current hammock would stay at home to use with my wall mounts while the new hammock would be with my gear for going away and would be used with the Tensa stand. I'd probably buy another Dream Hammock Sparrow as I really like the one I'm currently using.
I switched my XLC to CL's and beetle buckles to make using the Tensa4 easier to adjust and I'm switching out other two blackbirds asap as well. I just ordered two more Tensa4 stands and the stuff to upgrade mine to the new straps. Now we can hang EVERYWHERE!!!!! (Well, as soon as the other two stands arrive...)
