Maybe try lining the inside seams with Gorilla Tape. Could add a barrier and help the poles from rubbing through as the bike rattles them.

Tensa worked flawlessly on the Colorado river. Only thing to mention is be careful when using in sand as it gets stuck in the poles making it a bit hard to retract the poles.

I absolutely love that you used your waverunner as a tether point. I have done the same with my motorcycle, and it works brilliantly.

Nice. I’m going on a Grand Canyon rafting trip next fall and I’m debating a Tensa4 or just going the cot route.

What are you using as the weight?

Rafting along the Colorado in the Grand Canyon will be perfect for the Tensa4. There are plenty of large rocks you can use to anchor to.

I didn’t use a counterweight most of the times. I just stay on the head side when getting in and out. For anchors I used the Sea Doo, orange spikes and whatever else was close by.
