I'm getting my stand tomorrow and was wondering do I need straps to set it up or can I just use the continuous loops on my hammock?

It all depends on how long your continuous loops (CL) are and how long is your hammock. You can use whatever you use to hang from a tree to hang from the ends of the stand. For reference a 12-1/2 foot hammock with short CLs on each end and about a 83% SRL works directly from the stand ends.

got my stand today and while extending the poles there are about 3 of the buttons that never fully extend on their on when they line up with the hole. I have to either twist the on the pole a little or bang on it pretty hard to get them to fully pop out. is this something that will fix itself after use or is there something I can do? if I don't make them pop out all the way I can make the pole slide back down.
also what is everybody using to anchor the foot end while using the stand indoors? just trying to get some ideas
