That alone has been enough of an improvement to make it worth me buying a new stand to replace my test stand. Other tweaks and improvements are great, but having anodised tubing is very worthwhile - definitely putting this stand well ahead of the Tato stand IMO. It is my belief that this is currently the best hammock stand on the market, by a very clear margin.
With the improvements that have been made and having caught up with production, I think this stand is ready for EVERY motorcycle rider that hammock camps and wants a stand - there is no other option that is portable enough for motorcycling that comes close to being as good as this stand. Apart from motorcyclists, this stand is also excellent for car camping, bicycle touring and any situation where you want a reasonably portable hammock stand that can be used nearly anywhere, indoors or out. I think every hammocker should buy one of these!
Just an FYI,
I made a separate thread this morning of the DynaFly hanging over my new Tensa4. It really is a match made in heaven.

I see you are using one of the prototype tarp extensions. I attach the tarp to the extension pole with a tent stake (or random stick) through the tarp D-ring and then down the pole. What you have looks like it works also. Looks like a pair of those (tarp extensions) needs to go to the MAHHA as part of our combined donation.
Come check out the Tensa4 tensahedron stand and other hammock stands at http://www.TensaOutdoor.com and [email protected]
You are correct. Todd rode his bike all the way home and back to make sure I got those extensions before we parted ways in Portland. He mentioned that you were going to replace the shock cord which I did end up doing. I'm still toying with how to have the DynaFly ridge nice and taut without "locking down" the stand and I think I'm on the right track with your tarp extension pole. If I can figure out a way to make the stand-to-extender attachment into a more dynamic pivot point without it turning all floppy on me, I may be able to keep the separate tarp ridgeline staked out for ridge tension while still allowing the stand to shift as desired. It is quite the learning curve wrapping my head around all the dynamics involved but I am having fun. Just wish I had more time to spend in the yard.

Having fun at the Woodland, CA factory:
Looks like 6 people, 18 struts, is a complete flower based on the semi-circularity of this 10-strut 3-er.

Another great campsite, on a ranch outside of Jacksboro tx
No rainfly needed, no trees to obscure the beautiful star filled sky! I love this stand!
It was a warm night, another advantage is I didn’t have the breeze blocked by trees!
Ok, I’ve been following this thread for a long time. Finally got one of these and decided to set it up immediately in a spare room at my house. HOLY SMOKES! This thing is nearer than a rooster with socks! I’m hanging inside tonight!!
I’ll be taking the eye bolts outta the wall tomorrow morning!
Thanks for all your hard work, guys! Excellent product!!
Is there no limit to how many you could hook up to this thing? Some sort of stanadardized connector would be desirable at the foot and head ends, yes. It would be far better than some random pass this through here, that one through there etc.
Careful, this thing could sqid outta control quickly.
