    yea I think I figured it out....thanks

thanks I've used whoopee slings before so I knew you had to milk the bury. that is not the issue I was having though, making the line longer was no issue but when I went to make the line shorter to bring the ends together was the issue. I found a way to make it work it just takes a few seconds to remember what to do.

Just appeals to my aesthetics a bit more and provides the opportunity to play with more titanium goodies...
Yes, we can offer all the parts a-la-carte if asked. FWIW, the toggles are aluminum, not Ti.

My suggestion is to put a flatworm toggle on the TiggzToggle with a CL. You will need to make sure the spliced section doesn't extend to overlap the TiggzToggle or it won't fit in the hole. An 18" piece of amsteel with 4" overlaps on both ends is a good starting point IIRC.

Prototype (production) 13 foot mega tarp for the Tensa4 hammock stand. I want the doors longer and maybe the sides too. Have to say I'm really pleased with the quality of the fabric and workmanship. There should be one of these at HangCon. This was after a night in the dew and no elastic in the pull out guylines.

    This looks pretty awesome.

Maybe there's 50 micro-adjustments that could alleviate this, but from this picture, I'd be worried about the portion of the stand that extends outside the tarp, and the water that lands on and runs down the poles or the exposed hammock suspension, just because there are some limitations to the drip line techniques or intervening hardware we tend to rely on with trees.

It is still just a prototype. I want the doors longer, and am thinking longer sides as well. As for dripping, yes that is a concern and needs testing, but I think the whole tarp extension will channel drips straight down. I have used them in heavy rain and found no water getting to me or down the stand. Actually the only time I got wet was when I left the doors flapping in heavy wind and it threw water inside. As soon as I secured the flapping door it was completely dry inside. That was with a 12 foot tarp. This is a 13 foot one.

If you crop the picture just a bit, the picture will be attached/uploaded on the right side up.

Took a little while, but finally a semi-formal setup video with the new connection scheme. Enjoy:
