This is just my opinion, but I would not hesitate to recommend the Tensa4 for motorcycle camping. It's been a game changer for me on my motorcycle trips. No longer bound to plan trips around where the right trees are, or whether or not the campground even allows hammocks (KOA). The stand negates all those worries. It fits easily on the bike, and once you get the hang (haha) of it, your setup/takedown times times will be minimal. If I'm quick and don't goof off, I can have my stand and tarp extensions up in approximately 5 minutes. Hammock hung and tarp set in 7-10 minutes. I frequently get my water boiling for dinner or coffee while I setup/takedown. It times out just about right.
That's an easy one - get the Tensa stand!
My motorcycle camping is much easier with the Tensa stand giving me the ability to set up wherever a person with a tent can set up. The biggest difference is that I'm more comfortable and can easily get in 8+ hours of sleep. It is much nicer to ride my CRF1000 when I'm well rested.
my tensa stand was purchased mostly for my moto camping trips
its so awesome
I bought my Tensa 4 for kayak camping. My camping buddy was so impressed, she bought one, too.

I bought mine primarily for a Grand Canyon trip later this year. At least that was my excuse that I “needed” one :-)
