Love the new straps and toggles!! The ucr's were not hard to deal with but these are better! Sleeping in my shop tonight. Just for the heck of it.

Question - I have the first version of the Tensa, without the grooves and just recently purchased a tensa solo conversion kit. However, the kit parts have the grooves in it, like the most recent tensa poles. It doesn't seem that the large foot piece will slide into the end of the biggest section, as it is supposed to do. Is there a workaround for this kit to work with the first version of the tensa stand? Can I just work the rubber piece off and slide that on the end and use that?

I have the slightly older UCR style and use the stand ridgeline for my tarp. I have a Chameleon and use an 11 foot tarp with the stand so far. I just got the new tarp extensions and will be trying out my 12 foot tarp with those. If it works out well, I may be able to get rid of the stand ridgeline if I get a couple of the new connectors.

Thanks, yeah so it seems like so far others use the stand rl for the tarp...just checking.
I have 2 stands and ordered 1 extension as well. For the time being, I will be using one set between the two stands on joint trips just to see how well it works. The thought is that the stand angles down on the head end, so the extension will make the tarp flat.
